When the lot of hosting the 2018 Igbo Day celebration fell on Imo State, it was seen as an opportunity for the apex Igbo socio- cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, comprising seven states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Delta, and Ekwerre, part of Rivers State, to take a position on national issues.
