Foundation Holds Policy Dialogue On ‘High Infant Mortality Rate’

Yellow Jerrycan Save A Child Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), is set to hold a policy dialogue to tackle the high rate of mortality in Nigeria

 

The symposium which has its focus on children under the age of 5 will hold on Friday, May 25th, 2018, at the women development centre, Abuja ahead of children’s day.

 

Reducing the level of malnutrition to help save more children in the country at large will also be addressed at the symposium.

 

The initiator of the foundation, Ms Adaora Onyechere, being the host speaker, would also have the Minister of Health Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole and Hon. Okafor Chike John, House of Representative committee chairman on health as guest speakers.

 

The Foundation, in their successive dialogue, since 2014, have ensured that the children’s day remained remarkable as it makes it a day to bring together policymakers, children especially the public school children and their schools representative to bring to the fore issues affecting them and engaging them in seeking solutions.

 

Yellow JerryCan Save A Child-Lend A Hand Foundation, with a focus on Africa, is a reach out and empowerment platform that focuses on bringing aid to children and women who have been affected by war, communal clashes, natural disasters and insurgency.
